PRIVACY POLICY ============== Last updated 19 October 2026 WHAT ALIBI IS Alibi lets you post a live photo or video as proof that you did a habit, and lets a small group of friends you choose ("your circle") see it and vouch for it. WHAT WE COLLECT - Account: your email address, or an Apple ID identifier if you use Sign in with Apple. A username and display name you choose, and a profile picture if you add one. - Proofs: the photos and videos you take in the app, the time you took them, and an optional caption. Proofs are taken live in the app; we never read your camera roll for proofs. - Habits and circles: the habits you create and the friends you add to each one. - Messages and reactions: what you write in a circle's chat, and the emoji reactions, vouches and doubts you leave on proofs. Comments you leave on a post are seen by the people in that post's circle. - Reminders: the time you pick for a habit reminder, if you set one. - Challenge sets: if you publish a set, its name, description and tasks, and your display name, can be seen by other Alibi users once it's approved. We also count how often a set is used and liked. - Feedback: anything you send from Settings, with your username and app version, so we can follow up. - Reports: if you report a proof or a message, we keep the report and a copy of what was reported so we can review it. - Device: a push notification token, your timezone (so the evening reminder arrives at the right time), basic crash and error logs, when you open the app and which version you have, and a record of errors the app runs into (what failed, with your account and app version), so we can spot and fix problems. WHO CAN SEE YOUR PROOFS Only you and the people in that habit's circle. Proofs are not public, not searchable, and not shown to anyone you have not added. Removing someone from a circle hides your past proofs from them. Alibi's developer can also see posts, messages and activity (like when you open the app and which days you post) to run the app, review reports and fix problems. WHO CAN SEE THE REST Chat messages and reactions are seen by the people in that circle. Your name, username and profile picture can be seen by other signed-in Alibi users, so friends can find you. Your stats and stamps are shown only to your friends and people you share a circle with. HOW LONG WE KEEP THINGS Photos stay until you delete the proof, the habit, or your account. Video files are deleted 30 days after posting; the still frame remains. Deleting your account removes your profile, habits, proofs, vouches, reactions, chat messages and uploaded files. A report that is still being reviewed is kept until it is resolved. WHERE IT LIVES Data is stored with Supabase in the United States. Push notifications go through Apple's service. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising or tracking SDKs. YOUR CONTROLS - Delete any proof or habit from its page. - Save a photo or video to your Photos from its menu. Alibi only asks to add to your library, never to read it. - Remove a friend, block a person, or report a proof from the app. - Delete your whole account from the You tab. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. - Turn off notifications in iOS Settings. CHILDREN Alibi is for people 13 and older. CONTACT Questions or requests: jdsouza_07@outlook.com.
